Initial Consultation
During the free first appointment, Val meets with the student and the parent(s) to discuss goals, timelines, schedules, questions, etc.
There is no charge for this 30 minute strategy session.
Freshman/Sophmore
Val meets with the student every 3-4 months with freshmen or on a bi-monthly basis with sophomores to discuss the student’s extracurricular activities, interests, passions, course selection options, grades, and explore summer opportunities in their area of interest as they build a list of possible majors, careers, and colleges.
Juniors
Val meets with the student every month starting at the end of sophomore year or the start or junior year to craft a list of possible careers, majors, and colleges. Val will also help the student prepare for the SATs and investigate whether the student should also take the ACTs. Val will help the student prepare an academic resume and explore extra curricular and summer opportunities based on the student’s interests.
Senior Sprint
Val meets with the student as needed near the end of junior year and throughout senior year to help finalize their college list, work on personal essays and prompts, apply to schools and scholarships, compare financial aid packages, and assist with making the final decision on where to attend college.
Transfer/Grad Students
